The movie takes place in a dystopian Paris, where the government has built a fortified wall around the impoverished neighborhood of District 13. The area has become a hotbed of crime and violence, and the police have given up on it. The story follows two main characters: Lénï (played by Pierre Morel), a police officer tasked with taking down the notorious gang leader, Mr. K; and B13 (played by David Belle), a young parkour enthusiast who becomes an unlikely ally to Lénï.
