Julián's childhood friend turned tomato farmer.

Based on the 2011 Mexican comedy film Salvando al Soldado Pérez

The narrative follows Julián Pérez (played by Miguel Rodarte), the most powerful organized crime leader in Mexico. Despite his fearsome reputation, he remains devoted to his mother, Doña Elvira. When his younger brother, Juan, a U.S. Marine, goes missing in Iraq, Doña Elvira demands that Julián rescue him as a condition for her forgiveness of his criminal life.

The group travels to Iraq, where their distinctive "norteño" style (cowboy hats and pointed boots) creates a surreal culture clash against the backdrop of the Iraq War.

Produced by Lemon Films, the production value was notably high for a Mexican comedy, featuring filming locations in Mexico and Morocco to simulate the Iraqi desert. The Legacy of Salvando al Soldado Pérez
