Let’s start with the manual itself. It’s a classic printed booklet – not the most intuitive, but surprisingly detailed. You’ll need patience. The remote supports direct code entry, auto-search, and code learning. I tried auto-search first, but it took too long. Manual code entry (using the tables in the manual) worked better. I found codes for my Samsung TV and Sony soundbar within minutes. For an older LG DVD player, none of the listed codes worked, so I used the learning function – that’s where this remote shines.
