In a full ECU design, you must designate which pins require special wiring practices from the factory:
The harness translates the ECU pinout into physical connections. Use twisted pairs for CAN and crank sensors. Shield analog inputs (e.g., knock sensor) with a drain wire grounded at the ECU end only.
