The story begins in Bogota, Colombia, where 9-year-old Cataleya witnesses the brutal murder of her parents by a ruthless drug lord. After escaping to the United States, she seeks out her uncle in Chicago and asks him to train her to become a killer. Fifteen years later, Cataleya has transformed into a professional hitwoman. She leaves a "signature" flower—the Cataleya orchid—at every crime scene, hoping to eventually draw out the men responsible for her family's death and exact her ultimate revenge.
