One year after their reign in Narnia (1,300 years later in Narnian time), the Pevensies—Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy—are magically pulled from a London train station back to Narnia. They discover their castle, Cair Paravel, in ruins and the land conquered by the Telmarines, descendants of human pirates who drove magical creatures into hiding. Prince Caspian, the rightful Telmarine heir, flees after his usurping uncle, King Miraz, attempts to murder him. Caspian blows Queen Susan’s ancient horn, summoning the Pevensies.
