If your Stress exceeds 85%, you suffer from “The Static”—auditory hallucinations and typos in your text logs. You might misread a safehouse location or accidentally call an NPC by their real name. Lowering stress isn't easy; you have to perform risky "rituals" (like visiting a secret bar) that expose you to surveillance.
