Babli (Ranbir Kapoor) is a charming car thief with no moral compass until he meets Tara (Pallavi Sharda). He accidentally steals her car and sells it to a local gang lord, Bheem Singh (Javed Jaffrey). Realizing his mistake, Babli teams up with Tara to steal the car back, only to find a bag of illegal "hawala" cash inside. This leads to a pursuit by a bumbling cop couple, Chulbul and Bulbul Chautala (played by Ranbir’s real-life parents, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor).
